I am a native Korean and I have studied English literature and Korean language. I have TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and Korean Teacher’s Certificate Level 2. I have been teaching Korean & English for over 18 years to a wide range of students from children through to adults. Also I’ve lived in Australia, England then traveled some European and Asian countries.
These experiences help me design my classes based on the individual student’s needs with considerations of different cultural aspects and diverse life styles of students. Not everybody learns the same way, and I have the experience to make sure you take the most from every class.
We’ll develop lessons together, trying to keep it fun & motivating. I’ll find out about your interests & hobbies and try to make them an integral part of your learning process. I also organise a students meet up or design a group lessons to inspire my students to motivate each other’s learning journey.
A little about me – when I’m not teaching Korean, I like traveling with Champ- my furry son.
I also love stand up comedies, watching films and drawing & painting.
I want to learn about your interests & provide you with the ability to find an adventure overseas like me.
I also read regularly and like drawing & painting. Living in Manchester is very different from Seoul, but I am enjoying this exciting new time in my life.
